Barb and Joe Goebel have been a true inspiration to Veterans Memorial Park. They have worked tirelessly keeping records on each and every monument, helping secure monuments and attractions including visiting far away military bases numerous times, assisting in raising funds for these projects and additions, and many other needs (far too many to count). Yesterday was a monumental day to commemorate their dedication to the park and the Richmond Community by installing “Goebel Way”.
With the help of our friends at the Street Department we were also able to finally install “Remembering Veterans Way” street sign. There has been such a collective support from our Veteran Community. This park is a blessing just as each of you are and those who will never be forgotten. This street sign is to express to each, and every Veteran how truly valued they are for their service and for their work at Veterans Memorial Park. Thank you to ALL who continue to make this a proud destination for all!
